Medicinal Ingredients

Each tea bag (2.0 g) contains
Organic purple coneflower root (Echinacea purpurea)	600 mg
Organic licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra)	550 mg
Organic marshmallow leaf (Althaea officinalis)	280 mg
Organic marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis)	100 mg
Organic licorice root extract (5-7:1)	50 mg
(Glycyrrhiza uralensis) equivalent to of licorice	300 mg

 

Non-Medicinal Ingredients

Organic lemon myrtle leaf (Backhousia citriodora), organic bitter fennel fruit (Foeniculum vulgare), organic orange peel (Citrus sinensis), organic cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum spp.).

Suggested Use

Adults: Drink 2-3 cups daily.

Directions For Use

Pour 240 mL freshly boiled water over 1 tea bag and steep, covered, for 10-15 minutes. Gently squeeze the tea bag to release the remaining extract.

Duration Of Use

Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4-6 weeks.

Cautions

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a liver disorder, or if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, leukosis, collagenosis or multiple sclerosis, or are taking immunosuppressants. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.

Contraindications

Do not use if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or other kidney or cardiovascular disorder. Do not use if you have an allergy to Asteraceae /Compositae (daisy) family. Do not use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance.

Known Adverse Reaction

Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur, in which case, discontinue use.
